NEW LP
Pasazer Records
After 27 years, the first longplay of the Rzeszów legend cold wave / new wave / punk - 1984. Demo "Why not?" recorded in 1987.
1984 - the legend of Rzeszów's new wave / cold wave / punk, despite its 27-year history, will only appear on the longplay in 2011. Before that, in the 1980s, she only appeared on a single and a compilation album. A bit late, but we will remind you of their most punk incarnation from 1987. The turntables will spin the demo "Why not?", Previously released on the band's own cassette, in a microscopic edition.
The material contains most of the flagship 1984 pieces from that time, with biting punk irony portraying the totalitarian reality of the late PRL. It wasn't for nothing that Orwell gave them a name. This band and this material are a great example of the power of punk rock / new wave of that time. And besides - allowing myself to be given personal attention - one of the most important points of my punk childhood soundtrack.
The quality of the recordings differs from modern standards (it was not a professional studio!), But modern mastering (Studio As One) has certainly improved it, and the energy value of these tracks is amazing in themselves.
The material is enriched with bonuses from a year earlier, also in Rzeszów, session of the band (winter 1986), presenting a slightly more cold wave face of 1984.
