Judgement Day compiles three sessions, recorded '84-'87, from Betrayed, a short lived but impactful British Oi! outfit. Though the group is probably best known for their split LP with Oi Polloi, these sessions, recorded at Europa studios (the same studio responsible for Last Resort's Skinhead Anthems album) tells the group's full story. Inspired by all the usual suspects--4 Skins, Last Resort, Business, Rejects, Infa Riot, Blitz, Partisans, Cock Sparrer and the like--Betrayed played a no frills, brash and particularly UK82 slanted brand of oi! Though songs from these sessions have been used for various demos and comps, these sessions were never given the proper vinyl treatment in their time, so this collection, taken from the original master tapes, is essential for those looking to dig deeper into the 80's UK oi! scene.
