On September 11, 2018, a DVD version of the film "geotropism breaking sound group rushing 911,"
a collection of never-before-seen footage from G.I.S.M., which was shown
for only one day at Tachikawa Cinema City and sold out its 700 seats in a few hours,
is now available. Selected from the legendary archive footage, this one-hour work of
shocking footage is finally being brought to life.
G.I.S.M. Hosei University Tokyo Battle Days" (1984 / 8mm / 13 min),
"GEOTROPISM" (1984 / 8mm / 20 min),
originally conceived by and starring SAKEVI YOKOYAMA, and the legendary
"Eggplant Last Live", as well as the first public viewing of "Rehearsal Studio.
This is the ultimate 60-minute experience of the legendary live performance of
G.I.S.M. After the film's release, social networking sites have been filled with
comments such as "It was a tremendous visual experience. The art of roaring sound,
" "The overwhelming sense of presence was astonishing," "Magnificent, terrifying
experience," and many other comments about the simulated experience of G.I.S.M. in the film.
Directed by Junji Yasuda, who shot and directed all the official G.I.S.M. footage for
"A Little Bit of Rain Will Make Me Ganbatte" and "Wonderful Days Will Be Upsetting,"
the film will be released simultaneously worldwide on September 11, 2024.
