THE PIKES pay again tribute to the true mod revival sound of the late 70´s/ early 80´s, featuring some 60’s influences to a genuine Mod-Punk sound. „Something’s going on“ is fast and wild. It’s one stomper after another. The secret? A perfect harmony of pop hooks and catchy background vocals, put together with blazing guitar riffs, a vibrant bass and forceful drums. Staying real to the good old days they returned to the fully analogue Schaltraum Studio of Berlin and recorded the songs on dark brown Tascam tape.
