Now is the right moment to recall this material on a worthy medium. Regim is the first team of Miś from 1125 and Skoda (today Hairy). With roots in the deep 1980s, with a strong anti-communist (once) and anti-authoritarian (later) message. The legend may be rather local in the Piła-Złotów regions, but it is extremely colorful. She sang songs about the regime leader, Pidżama Porno, when she was still a punk band 🙂, and the flagship piece of the Regime "To Friends of the Reds" was played by every young band in that area, just like "Young Fascists" a little later!
The regime recorded two studio materials, the first of which, from 1992, is still electrifying today. A juicy, melodic vibe at the intersection of punk, hardcore and crossover, with echoes of Poison Idea, BGK and Registration (you could hear a lot of good music in Złotów!), It was something rare on the Polish scene at the time. In 1992 their colleagues from Piła aroused greater applause, but after 25 years there is no doubt that the pieces from this first regime demo did not lose their edge, on the contrary: they grab and cut like a razor.
