Bl'ast! is a hardcore band from Santa Cruz, CA, USA who formed in 1983. In 1986, the band released their first album, "The Power Of Expression" which was recorded 3 times before the release on Green World / Wishing Well. Unfortunately, the label's distributor would go out of business shortly after the release. Bl'ast! wrote "It's in my Blood" and were then signed to SST Records. "It's in my Blood" was set to include second guitarist William "Kip" DuVall of Georgia's Neon Christ (and currently of Alice In Chains) but he left the band shortly after the recording sessions and his tracks were removed. "It's in my Blood" was released by SST in 1987.
